COMPLIANCE
Solidus stands as a meticulously organized corporation, fully operational under the stringent laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. As an escrow agent and third-party fund administrator, we operate under the continuous supervision of the General Superintendency of Financial Institutions (SUGEF), ensuring steadfast adherence to regulatory standards.

Our practices align strictly with the mandates outlined in Article 15 and Article 15 bis of the 7786 Act, addressing crucial issues related to narcotics, psychotropic substances, unauthorized activities, money laundering, and the financing of terrorism. Solidus boasts a consolidated compliance department, diligently verifying the origin of every transaction’s funds, ensuring transparency and integrity throughout all transactions.

All funds entrusted to us are received via reputable Costa Rican financial institutions, ensuring both compliance and security in every financial endeavor. Solidus offers our esteemed clients access to an innovative, secure portal via solidus.com. Through this portal, clients can access their escrow account statements, review transaction history, download wire confirmations, and request disbursements. This secure process, trusted by banks and financial institutions alike, ensures the safeguarding of our clients' assets and provides a robust defense against potential fraud.

It is important to note that while Solidus operates under the vigilant supervision of SUGEF for anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism financing, and anti-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction compliance, this supervision does not extend to our operational license. SUGEF’s oversight does not encompass our business practices, the services we offer, or our financial stability and solvency. Clients who choose Solidus’s services do so with the knowledge that they are partnering with a company committed to transparency, security, and compliance, albeit at their own risk.
